reviews on ELF

This is my second Haul from ELF
not all are mine, some are my sis's
and I bought extra
there's actually another blush & bronze, which is not in da picha

First up....
ELF Contouring Blush & Bronzing Powder
the color is uber NICE!
it's the closes dupe for NARS Duo Orgasm & Laguna
Plus, it is VERY pigmented and very long lasting
somehow there's a lot of fall out when u brush over the color,
and idk why this compact feels heavy to me, hmmm
here are the swatches....

the peachy pink with gold shimmer is very flattering on my skin, I think it'll go well on any skin tone
I personally love the gold shimmer in it!
don't worry, it's very subtle

now the bronzer, it is VERY pigmented!
so go very light hand
I was trying it out today, and I dip into the color like how I usually will
and sweep, oh-em-gee
it's so intense, or should I say too intense?
lol
I have to use sponge to go over it, and use powder to cover
nightmare, can?!
I learned my lesson the hard way.

Anyone interested in getting this,
I have one extra in hand which I'm letting go

ELF Concealer Pencil & Brush in Light
I've been searching for good concealer, so far the best I've tried is Skin Food Rice concealer
I bought a second tube but it's eff up, there's a layer of oil, I think it's expired
then I bought Stila, which is not that good
I also bought NYX concealer jar, which I will review soon
and ELF is next on the line

here is the swatch.....
my shade is MAC NC25-30
ELF shade in Light suited me well

This concealer is very good if u're rushing, or just when u need a quick cover up
it's very similar to The Body Shop crayon concealer
covers really well, very creamy, but tend to be sticky
so make sure to top it off with a layer of powder
it's uber convenient as well!
3 in 1,
the lid as sharpener, concealer and together with a brush at the end
it also claims to have ingredient that will heal pimple, which I highly doubt
this is a must have in every make up bag

Lastly,
ELF eyeshadow brush
it's your typical eyeshadow brush but work wonders
it packs on color really well, blends moderately well, it's super soft,
till I cant stop touching it, in fact
I was holding the brush and nicely touching it when I was on my lappie
and it shed like crazy!

I read a lot of reviews saying it won't shed but mine does, quite seriously
there's more than what u see in this picture but I didn't bother to pick it up

as u can see from the above haul picture, I bought 3 eyeshadow brush,
*one for my sis, one for me, another one for extra*
I took all three out and compare, and to my horror
3 of them are in different length/height! one is shorter, another is longer
LOL!
actually it's not really a big deal, as long as it works

here are swatch using the eyeshadow brush with Stila eyeshadow in Cassis
left apply with wet brush, right apply with dry brush

This eyeshadow is really tricky, the true color is actually a deep eggplant color
but using different method to apply give different color
as u can see from the eyeshadow pan, it look more like navy blue
but when u see the swatches, it's a deep eggplant color
and I love the fact that ELF brush brings out the true color of this eyeshadow

and I had a really great play time with ELF brush and coastal scent 88 eyeshadow palette
LOL!
*all apply using wet method*

in the picture, I have the 4th brush, which is a blending brush
it belongs to my sis, so I did not try it out
but it look very different from the website!

I actually bought an extra eyeshadow brush, at first
I thought of selling it,
but after trying out mine, I'm considering to not sell it....
lol
